Liverpool will end Manchester United’s unbeaten run

Liverpool will end Manchester United’s unbeaten run with a victory at Anfield this weekend, according to me.
Jose Mourinho’s United have been in superb form this season, winning six of their seven league fixtures and also sealing two convincing victories in the Champions League.
Liverpool rocked by Sadio Mane injury blow ahead of Manchester United clash Their form has allowed them to emerge as early frontrunners in the title race alongside Manchester City and Mourinho will be looking to maintain their run at Liverpool on Saturday.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are already seven points adrift of United and have only won one of their last four fixtures in the English top-flight.
Nevertheless, Liverpool legend Barnes has backed his former club to come out on top this weekend and says their impressive form against top five teams will show.

‘Why I think Liverpool will win this is because of what they have demonstrated against all of the top five teams, apart from Manchester City when they went down to ten men and lost 5-0,’ Barnes told talkSPORT.
‘They have had the upper hand against all of the top five teams because of the nature of the way those games are played.
‘They are very open, they are very attack-minded – whereby one team attacks and leaves the defence to defend for themselves.
‘If you go head-to-head with Liverpool rather than sitting in deep and defending in numbers to stop Mane, Salah, Firmino, you come a cropper and that is what has happened to Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester United.

‘If they go all-out attack against Liverpool, which they are under pressure do because they are Man United and they are top of the league, then I think Liverpool will win.’

Mourinho will be without the injured Marouane Fellaini on Saturday but is expected to welcome Phil Jones back into the side following his injury scare with England.
In-form striker Romelu Lukaku should also be fully fit after missing Belgium’s World Cup qualifier against Bosnia and Herzegovina with an ankle problem.

Eden Hazard has warned that his recovery from injury is not yet over.
The Chelsea forward was seriously injured at the end of last season and underwent ankle surgery over the summer.
Liverpool rocked by Sadio Mane injury blow ahead of Manchester United clash He’s since returned to action, making his first Premier League start of the season in Chelsea’s 1-0 defeat to Man City just before the international break.
He also started Belgium’s World Cup qualifier against Bosnia on Saturday and could play a role again tonight in their match with Cyprus.

But, without a goal for Chelsea this season, Hazard has warned he is still recovering from his surgery and he could miss more games.
‘I missed football for three months, it’s not easy to come back after a big injury,’ he said while on international duty.
‘But I worked during the summer – I just want to play football.
‘I will miss some games, I will play bad for some games. I just want to play football and try to bring the best of me.’

Hazard’s comments come amid an injury crisis for Chelsea. They are expected to be without their two most influential players of the season so far when they take on Crystal Palace this weekend. N’Golo Kante and Alvaro Morata have both suffered hamstring injuries while on international duty and precisely when either will return is not yet clear.

Chelsea will hope the best of Hazard isn’t far away as they look to recover from the setback of defeat to title rivals Man City.
A winnable looking run of Premier League fixtures against Crystal Palace, Watford and Bournemouth lay in wait before a clash with Manchester United.

Who is most important to Chelsea?

  • Hazard
  • Kante
